AN OPEN LETTER TO ALL ELECTED OFFICIALS
IN THE STATE OF NEVADA
Reference: March 31, 2008Nevada government suffers from a culture of corruption. Why are you permitting this?
Why are those of you who know the meaning of integrity turning your backs on wrongful actions perpetrated by the rotten apples in the barrel?
Why is your oath of office commonly stomped on and treated as a meaningless ceremonial formality?
Why are you not hellbent-for-leather to decertify the state's electronic voting machines? Same exact machines HAVE been decertified in California. Experts proved these Sequoia machines can be easily rigged to throw elections. Democracy is nothing more than a criminal scam without an honest and accurate voting system. Not a single one of you can prove that you were elected honestly!
Why are you not suing Sequoia Voting Systems for fraud? This company took millions of Nevada dollars for machines they know can be easily programmed to switch votes for candidates anointed by Nevada's power elite? Why do you not demand that Dean Heller who was the point man in the buy decision take a polygraph test? Did Heller knowingly buy dirty machines with willful intent to throw elections?
Why do you not pass legislation at state level to make it a capital crime to attempt to throw any election?
Why are you not hellbent-for-leather to do whatever it takes to give Nevadans an honest and trustworthy legal system? As in honest judges who are not good ol' boys easily bought to defecate on justice? As in coming up with a fail-safe system to keep evidence from being lost, stolen, or destroyed while in police custody? As in coming up with a fail-safe system to keep video tapes from being edited to leave out facts that are friendly to accused persons? As in coming up with a fail-safe system to keep Ed Dannan-types from ruling in favor of politicians who pay their salaries and office budgets?
Why are you not hellbent-for-leather to recognize that we the people are sovereign and that you are hired help who should act accordingly?
Why do you let yourselves believe that your delivery of adversarial government is acceptable? Is it not adversarial for hired help to refuse to answer questions asked by members of the sovereign people about the people's business? Is this insult against openness in government not a common practice of public bodies in Nevada ~ or is this only practiced by the Washoe County Commission?
Can government of, by, and for the people be more than hollow rhetoric when public officials can thumb their noses at their employers with impunity? Consider this: The Washoe Commission lost an eminent domain lawsuit. This will cost Washoe Taxpayers around $30-million when interest on an involved loan is factored in. Commissioners ~ and D.A. Gammick ~ adamantly refuse to explain how they lost this suit. Fair to judge, this is nothing short of a cover-up of their incompetence.
If YOU and all other Nevada officials could be easily fired for hiding details of the people's business, how much fraud and incompetence would be eliminated from public administration in our state? And how many corrupt bottom-feeders would no longer see public employment as their natural element?
Why are you not hellbent-for-leather to clean up the attorney general's office and the so-called ethics commission? Transparently, these entities are expected by Nevada's power elite to protect their political lackeys from accountability for crimes against decent government. One example: Big-bucks bid rigging at UNR was proved, but the AG at the time swept facts under the carpet with a fraudulent investigation where key members of the cast of characters were simply not interviewed. Another example: Boxes of evidence proving corruption within the Nevada Commission on Ethics were ignored by key members of the Legislature.
Why is AG Masto letting Brian Krolicki off the hook? He violated laws while state treasurer! A state audit proved this. Masto is doing nothing meaningful to send this crook to prison. Why should Nevadans not hold all elected officials in profound contempt when they ~ YOU ~ permit some persons (fellow politicians) to be above the law?
Which brings us to this question: Why are some laws and court decisions enforced in Nevada and other laws and court decisions NOT enforced? How ridiculous is it to request that a legislative committee be assigned the task of reviewing all laws and declaring which will no longer be enforced?
And then there is Nevada's number one ranking as the most dangerous state in America according to several sources on the Internet. And for 5 years in a row as of 2008! Why isn't something being done to study causes and deal with them? If government officials don't give a damn, we need new officials who WILL! Could it possibly be that there is a cause and effect relationship between gambling and serious crime? Could it be that Nevada's power elite and its political lackeys don't want any serious attention given to the social toxicity of legalized larceny?
