Burk is Washoe County Registrar of VotersIs it your position that one reason for using electronic voting machines in Washoe County is to make it possible for the vendor of such machines to make profits because "we live in a capitalist society"? Did you recently tell me anything like this by email?
Is it your position that the sole, legitimate reason for holding public elections is to permit the sovereign people to honestly and accurately choose representatives to "aid in the conduct of the people's business"?
Is there anything in the Constitution of the United States which assigns priority to money over principle?
Do you agree that our country has evolved into a fascist corporateocracy where Congress and other politicians are committed to serving corporations, rather than we the people?
Have you recently read any books having to do with the character of government in our country? If any, please volunteer their titles.
Have you read Constitutional Chaos by Judge Andrew P. Napolitano? Have you read Blackwater? The Best Democracy That Money Can Buy? Confessions of an Economic Hit Man? Armed Madhouse?
Do you agree that throwing any election is a form of treason? Please amplify.
Is it your position that hand-counted paper ballots are the LEAST RELIABLE way to hold an election for public officials? Did you recently tell me anything like this by email?
What university studies or books support your contention that paper ballots are the least reliable way to hold an election? Please volunteer titles.
Have you viewed the HBO documentary film, Hacking Democracy? Are you willing to sponsor the showing of this film to Washoe voters, free of charge, and then explain why this film should not be believed?
Does Canada demonstrate a very successful experience using hand-counted paper ballots -- where ballots were counted in only 4 hours nationwide?
How many European countries use hand-counted paper ballots? Please name these countries.
Can the video-game voting machines used by Washoe County be easily tampered with in a number of ways to throw elections?
In that Washoe's voting machines count votes in secret, do you claim that Washoe elections are "open and transparent"?
Why are you in favor of using voting machines that count votes in secret and can be rigged to throw elections?
How can your employers -- Washoe citizens -- know for certain that Larkin, Weber, Humke, Galloway, Sferrazza, Gammick, and all local judges were honestly elected? Your employers can't really know for certain, can they?
Have you publicly criticized Washoe's voting system in any way at any time?
Have you, at any time in any way, willfully done anything to cause a fraudulent outcome for any election?
Have you, at any time in any way, directly or indirectly, accepted gifts or favors having any value from any vendor or vendors of voting machines?
Have you ever had communications of any type with Mr. Cramer -- or any other representative -- of the Sequoia Voting Systems company? If so, are you willing to discuss such communications?
Are you willing to undergo a lie-detector test regarding the integrity of Washoe's voting system and your handling of all elections since you were hired? If not, why not?
